For the past many months I've been using my dad's old pair of Turtle Beach headphones for a vast majority of my mixing. Frankly, they're terrible. They clip if I make 'em slightly loud, and they have a bass slider that makes things even fuckier. I'm pretty sure it's been having a negative effect on the quality of my mixes. It's definitely had a strange effect on my sanity, anyhow - they're not that comfortable either, and they're broken.

So, recently, I ordered a Sennheiser HD 6XX from drop.com, with the hope that it helps my sanity and the quality of my mixes. I'm not entirely sure when they're coming in, unfortunately, so until then I'll do my best with what I've got.

Also, I've considered opening a Patreon account. For that, though, I need feedback - would people pay me to help me keep going and making neat tunes? I'm fairly new to this kinda thing, so the more feedback I get the better things are gonna go. Of course, honestly is the best way to go. If you don't wanna pay me, that's perfectly acceptable.

Been going back and forth to myself since I stopped, on whether I should start again. Suddenly, the 7th rolled around and it was 7:00 PM, so I kinda just jumped back into it. Round two! Here we go.

I'm unsure if I can keep this up, honestly. My work's quality is getting lower, and it's becoming more stressful to make music. I'm going to shift back to working on things more before I upload them; maybe I'll do uploads every few days, or every week, or something. Every day is just too much for me to stay sane with. I'll still try to keep a consistent schedule, though.

Not to mention, I made 15 new songs. That's one more song than I intended to make when I started this! I grew my audience a little as well.

TL:DR; I'm most likely done uploading every day. I'll try to upload consistently, but less than every day, as that is too little time to create a song. Thanks for reading!

I'm gonna skip today. I'm having a bad day, my creativity's way down, and it's already much farther in the day than I'd like. By now, I should have the song halfway done, but I can barely scrape together any ideas, and I keep scrolling through my other songs to try to grab something to finish up in 4 hours.

I'm pulling my hair out trying to not do this, but I get the feeling it's not all that healthy, so I'll aim to get something out tomorrow.

I know that at this point there are probably very few people who are watching my daily thing, and even fewer who care that I make every single day, but I thought I'd at least mention it.

Might consider including a break day every once in a while for this thing. That'd help, probably.

On the bright side, this should put me closer to TripleBarrel on this, since I had a bit of a head start.

Edit: My creativity came back after I watched Doctor Who; I just got a tiny little glitchy thing done! I did learn something, though. Creativity is best served sane. If I'm panicking about getting something done, nothing's going to get done. A bit of a paradox, but useful to know.
